Excellent news from the Royal Stoke about changes to the rules for those supporting mums-to-be. Last year I joined my friend Alicia Kearns MP's campaign to ask hospitals to relax some of the restrictions; we had some success last year but these additional changes are very welcome.
🔷 A partner can now attend both the 12-week and 20-week scans.
🔷 During labour, a birthing partner will be able to attend from hospital admission, rather than waiting until established labour.
I would like to thank everyone at the Royal Stoke for their efforts in supporting expectant mothers, while keeping the site as Covid-secure as possible.
