As part of UK Parliament Week I have been visiting and talking to different schools across Newcastle-under-Lyme who are celebrating it.
UK Parliament Week is an annual event taking place from 1-7 November, that engages people from across the UK with their Parliament, explores what it means to them and empowers them to get involved. Last year almost 1 million people took part in every nation and region of the UK, and countries all over the world.
One of my stops was to Seabridge Primary School - Official, where I was invited to be on their radio station. I've been honoured to be on their very successful station before, as have other members of the local community, as seen in the last photo.
I had a very enjoyable time being interviewed by their school council on topics relating to our community, the environment, Walley's Quarry and my role as an MP. I was also very interested to hear that young Chamin may want to become an MP when he is older.
