It was great to be in Westminster Hall today to speak about access to defibrillators. It was an honour to be able to pay tribute to Sam Benson, a Teaching Assistant at Ravensmead Primary School, who sadly recently passed away.
In her honour, family and friends have raised money for a defibrillator to be installed at the school and have also been in touch with me to ask me to support their campaign that all schools should have at least one defibrillator onsite. I am happy to do so.
I am very much looking forward to my visit to Ravensmead Primary School tomorrow, where I will see the new defibrillator as well as meeting with the school council to answer some of their questions about being an MP.
