As your Member of Parliament, I receive many letters and emails about our local NHS services.
We all rely on the NHS. That’s why we need to protect and improve it. So tell me what matters most to you.
The pandemic has put huge pressure on the NHS, and we still have to tackle backlogs in hospital and GP appointments as well as access to dental services.
Our local health services matter to me. That’s why I am working with the Government to secure the investment needed to recruit new doctors and nurses.
Locally, the number of doctors, nurses and clinical staff in Newcastle- under-Lyme has increased by 46% since September 2019 and we have recruited 523 more primary care workers since 2019 across Staffordshire.
But, in planning improved services, we have to make choices, and I am keen to hear where you think the most help is needed.
So, I am asking you to fill in my online survey.
I’ll study the results and discuss the findings with our local health leaders and government ministers.
I want our local priorities to be addressed so that every resident in our community gets the health services they deserve.
So please fill in this short survey – it will help our local NHS address your priorities.
