It was fantastic to see the "Through the Frame" Exhibition by art students from Madeley School at the Brampton Museum. The students have been taught how to curate an exhibition and have put together a magnificent collection of artists' work, including spectacular prints of works by famous names such as Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Jeff Koons.
This exhibition is running until this Sunday - check it out at the Brampton Museum, ST5 0QP!
I also had the chance to look around the unseen parts of the museum such as the storage rooms and their cellar which they use on school visits. The museum is a fantastic local facility which offers so much to the local community, such as their adult art classes, the innovative "chatty cafe", and thousands of school children visiting each year to learn more about our local history.
