I had the pleasure of welcoming my constituents Hugh and Clare to Parliament this time last week.
They had a tour of the Parliamentary estate and watched Prime Minister's Questions. It was good to chat to them about Walley's Quarry landfill and the investment and regeneration coming into the Borough.
If you would like to come down to Parliament and participate in a tour and watch some proceedings in the House (possibly PMQs, though availability for this is limited), please get in touch with my office via email, call my constituency office on 01782 308102 on weekdays between 9am and 5pm or visit my constituency office at 3 Queens Parade, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 1RW on weekdays between 10am-2pm.
Tours are free of charge and open to UK residents. Expert guides will accompany you on the 75-minute tour and describe explain the work of UK Parliament and its relevance today, outline how the working spaces are used, set out ways to get involved and engage with the democratic process, and highlight some of the dramatic history of the Palace of Westminster.
