On Friday I visited Silverdale Primary Academy and spoke to year three pupils as part of their PHSE (personal, social, health and economic) lessons, in which they learn about themselves and the world.
There were lots of great questions about what being an MP means, how much work it is and what it's like to work in Westminster, as well as local questions about the environment and about the landfill.
It was great to hear the children’s questions and to give them some idea of what it is like to be an MP. Many thanks to Ms Foster at Silverdale Primary Academy for co-ordinating the visit and thanks to all the children for their questions.
