Over 17 million people have now received a vaccine - that's 1 in 3 of the adult population. This really is an extraordinary achievement by everyone involved.
And with greater certainty about supply, we are now committing to every adult having been offered the jab by the end of July. We are also bringing forward the date for Groups 1-9 to have had their first vaccination to April 15th. This group includes all over-50s, and those at significant extra risk from Covid because of underlying conditions.
The Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be making his "roadmap" statement to Parliament at 3.30pm tomorrow, about the route out of lockdown. This will be followed by an address to the nation, likely to be around 7pm.
The Prime Minister has been clear that we will be focusing on "data, not dates" and that we need to be sure that each step out of restrictions will not need to be reversed. I will of course update you all once the details have been released.
