I’m up in Doncaster today attending (and speaking at) the first ever conference of the Northern Research Group, a group of around 60 Conservative MPs.
We are working together to make sure the Government keeps delivering on our levelling-up agenda, which has seen over £50m committed to the Borough so far. And we also want to encourage private sector firms to keep investing across the Midlands and the North - both in new sites and factories and also, even more importantly, in the skills of our workforce, through apprenticeships and training.
