This week Keele University have been holding their first in-person graduation ceremonies since before the pandemic.
I was pleased to be invited to one of the ceremonies today and witness some of the 10,000 people celebrating their fantastic achievements. Their success is the result of hard work, commitment and dedication.
The cohort graduating were originally due to graduate at various dates between July 2020 and January 2022. They have obviously endured difficult times at a crucial point in their education as their courses switched to online lecturing part way through their studies.
I was very proud to share this special occasion with my former caseworker, Emily, who graduated with First-Class Honours in her International Relations and also won a special prize for her hard work.
Congratulations
to Emily and all other Keele graduates!
